Very often, humans confidently believe that they are the masters of their own fate, but have we ever stopped to ponder if everything in life was fated, and that we had been , since many centuries ago, been manipulated by the iron fists of some heavenly figure high up in the turqouise skies? Have we ever wondered, despite our current standard of affluence, that we were merely puppets of this vicious cyycle of schemes? I'm one of them, one of the unaware, but gradually growing aware population of people who are fumbling away in life, wondering how things for others can go so smoothly, whereas mine is filled with trials and tribulations. Perhaps I am one of the pathetic victims of this plot of destinies. Sleepy now, but this sleep will bring me into a land of enchanted rivers, streams and wooden cottages. I will sleep forever, escaping from the destiny of my cruel fate. But WHAT IF THERE IS A TWIST AT THE END OF THE STORY??? the story of my life. never told.

Could not do that wretched emrichment survey on the apple computer in the mac lab, and was utterly frustrated:((( Feeling especially downcast today, with this nagging feeling that something isn't going well, yet I don't know what that is. Maybe sometimes, we really don't have a say in our destinies, and can only follow the flow of the water in order not to invite unneccesary trouble for ourselves. Pearlyn and Elissa are currently working very hard on our MMC Animation website(my foot! elissa is seizing every opportunity she finds to surf the net and take a peek at her dearest night, whose pictures she searches for online all day. I bet he is currently dominating her handphone wallpaper, computer background, screensaver animation, wall poster, and the only picture in her wallet), and Pearlyn is trying to draw water droplets for the website design. Pearlyn's words suddenly struck me like a hammer on a thin sheet of metal, causing an everlasting depression on its originally smooth and even surface. THE ENGLISH COMPO MUST BE COMPLETED IN 2 DAYS TIME!!!!!!! And my silly group still does not have an idea as to what we are going to do, though there were a few silly and (unfeasible) suggestions here and there, and the individual essay does not improve the situation in anyway....

Humans are unfathomable creatures. The big K sitting just beside me in class is one living example, one who tears one moment and breaks out in hysterical laughter the next. P is also another, a little like a two-headed Janus, who can be seething with anger over the slightest things and also laughing her head off and making a joke out of nothing. Anyway, we had our humans quiz finals today, and managed to clinch 3rd prize by a real weeny margin, and my fingers were crossed so hard that they almost broke. The history and maths tests tomorrow are weighing heavily in my mind now, and i can no longer find any reason to be sitting here crapping about some stuff irrelevant to my doomsday tomorrow.

Had to stay back for NJRC competition today (under pearlyn's instructions of having to do research on the topic of WATER in Singapore), and we did, although most of the time was spent on playing neopets games, and Kexin appeared to be the most amusing with her curses over her unsuccessful attempts at meerca chase2. A waste of time, really. Had to postpone my tuition by several hours just for this, and my mother was so irritated by my frequent changing of schedules that she started on a whole new bethoven's symphony of scoldings.
Following that, I went with e-hui and kexin to J8, only realising it to be a terrible decision as they tortured me mentally, trying to extort a whopping $10 from me for their Macs meal. And K was the most overboard, fancy ordering an ADULT meal when she had the students' special to choose from. How infuriating!!! And to think I thought e-hui would be the more understanding one, but instead she ganged up with K to snatch my monetary possesions from me (sob sob sob). And ON THE BUS... they simply shot off their mouths about the various affairs of mine with it1,2,&3 which they imagined and I became the victim of their joy and amusement. The scene on the road where they walked back and forth and had me fooled into thinking they were going to the same stop as pearlyn was rather laughable too, especially when they realised that all that was actually under the watchful eye of Mrs Jiang who was coincidentally on her way back to school, and had been walking along the opposite stretch of road. Hahahahahahaha. goodbye:P

haven't blogged for ages and am currently being forced at gunpoint by YU KEXIN TO BLOG. DIDN'T EXPECT COM LAB 3 TO BE SO CROWDED , filled with wu liao people anyway. just visited the com lab for our humanitites quiz tomorrow...unbelievable! the whole array of apple Mac os computers, all white and shiny, and the feel of the keyboard, although i didn't get to type anything, but to press the keyboard stupidly after everyone else was done and hear that dang dang dang dang sound from the com. it's a pity the humans. quiz will have to be done INDIVIDUALLY as i can well predict the outcome now----i'll probably fail the whole thing, as previous quizzes amongst the group, where i could only answer 1 qn out of 10 already gave me the psychological preparation for my disastrous results. Kexin just said something, although i am not too sure what that was . I guess she was probably cursing the web page for taking so long to load, and the words came out of her mouth unknowingly, subconsciously, and perhaps she'll break out into a fierce denial when we ask her. just so typical of her. self-denial. and i suddenly have run out of things to say. bye bye. i guess i won't be blogging tomorrow, or even several weeks from now unless another kexin comes along and starts coercing me to blog.

Apologies to kexin for not blogging and wasting her time flooding my tagboard. We were gathered at e-hui's slum yesterday afternoon doing our Geography project with cheonghui and kexin, except for joelyn who couldn't make it as she was still at the bowling alley when we were about done. Kexin's hyperness rose to its summit yesterday with her screaming and jumping about the chair, and coating e-hui's mousey with salt. We were rather fascinated about e-hui's organ, and were sneaking into her organ room in between times to bang the keyboard...and coat it with salt as well. It's utterly frustrating to hav ea dozen pop-ups on my screen as i type, slowing down my typing more than ever. My bro is trying to memorise english descriptive phrases to use in his compositions right now, as his mouth exercises with the book, "my knees quaked with trepidation as i dragged my feet forward dreadfully", and many others...

saddled with mixed feelings today. just collected my report book tish morning, and was fairly disappointed : ( Just visited e-hui's blog and i am absolutely amused by her disgusting picture of me. Can't believe that i'm leaving in 2 days time, with so many things not done yet...on top of losing my maths worksheet, which is especially embarrassing as a maths rep. Anyway, PET bottle experiment was fairly successful yesterday, with our class acing it across the level with an outstanding score of 10 (only 10? I think we could have done better if my rocket was not so 不中用) !!! whatever. my fingers were frozen today during my piano lesson and i fumbled in my pieces.

the khong tides were calmer today, I suppose. Pulling a long face, though. sigh...talking about that only makes people dispirited :(( Combined Tasmana's, e-hui's and my name this morning and guess what we got? TASALE. we were laughing our lungs out at this. Finally finished the Howl's moving castle book last night, which i had started on at least two weeks ago. This is an unbelievable achievement for me(who usually does not even finish a book). Whatever. meddling with the real digusting squeak programme now. Sometimes, i don't really understand the mentality of those wretched instructors which led them to choose such a 'ret.' or 'spas.' squeaker for us. Anyway, resign to fate, that is what i muz do at the moment...

Just skipped out of the pretty stuffed AVA room of SCGS after a real long briefing on the China trip. Second time there, and i know how much darker and dust-filled my lungs willl become. Nevermind. I'm bound to die of lung cancer or something of the sort one day...actually, you know i'm crapping. My blog seems spoilt on some, or i should say, most computers, and that has decreased the visitor population of my blog greatly. That doesn't bother me much, though, anyway, this blog was created only for myself. I'm really sad right now, with all the academic pressure weighing on me. (will be continued tomorrow, HOPEFULLY)

E-hui has been complaining that I haven't been updating this, which I really in fact am too lazy to. School is getting freaky..maybe only to me. Anyway, there's nothing nice to say today except that Kong Zi's words of wisdom(2.3 chinese text) are perhaps loads of theoretically correct attitudes but are totally unrealistic.

I read every diet I can get my hands on. I even follow their suggestions. But eventually, inevitably, I always get fat again. Now, at last, I've found The Answer. After living for almost 14 years with a man who never gains an ounce no matter what I serve him, I've found out what it is that keeps him thin: He thinks differently. The real difference between fat and thin people is that thin people:

avoid eating popcorn in the movies because it gets their hands greasy;

split a large combination pizza with three friends;

think Oreo cookies are for kids;

nibble cashews one at a time;

think that doughnuts are indigestible;

read books they have to hold with both hands;

become so absorbed in a weekend project they forget to have lunch;

fill the candy dish on their desks with paper clips;

counteract the midafternoon slump with a nap instead of a cinnamon Danish;

exchange the deep-fryer they received for Christmas for a clock-radio;

lose their appetites when they're depressed;

think chocolate Easter bunnies are for kids;

save leftovers that are too skimpy to use for another meal in order to make interesting soups;

throw out stale potato chips;

will eat only Swiss or Dutch chocolate, which cannot be found except in a special store;

think it's too much trouble to stop at a special store just to buy chocolate;

doesn't celebrate with a hot-fudge sundae every time they lose a pound;

warm up after skiing with black coffee instead of hot chocolate and whipped cream;

try all the salads at the buffet, leaving room for only one dessert;

find iced tea more refreshing than an ice-cream soda;

get into such interesting conversations at cocktail parties that they never quite work their way over to the hors-d'oeuvre table;

have no compulsion to keep the candy dish symmetrical by reducing the jelly beans to an equal number of each color;

think that topping brownies with ice cream makes too rich a dessert;

bring four cookies into the TV room instead of a box;

think banana splits are for kids.

The holidays have been rather meaningless for me as i'm faced with boredom everyday like a lifeless soul...Don't exactly hope to return to school either. Returned from smoke-filled Shanghai not long ago and my lungs have inevitably darkened quite a fair bit. It wouldn't be interresting for me to rattle on about the scenic views there so forget it. This is an attempt of this very repressed citizen of Singapore to try and raise an objection towards the unreasonable cause of the deterioration of emotional health---PRESSURE, or stress, as it is known.

This very day, a super domineering Miss Rachel Y.L.Y. with an evident intention to cause grevious harm to my emotional health by giving me great pressure through a sneaky attack of generously lending me her 'the Davinci Code' novel and setting an irrational time limit for me! This has not only affected me emotionally, but also physically.

For the sake of future vulnerable victims, may i request that the MOEH do something about the worsening situation before the entire Singapore population is admitted into Woodbridge hospital. A very heartfelt thanks to all efforts made.
